Game crashing radomly

MSI RTX 4070 PC is cool as a cucumber. issue has been going on for over a month now. Random crashes mid game

GPU is only 1 part of your PC one of many parts. You only knowing the the GPU is very telling how much you know about your own pre built system.

i7 13700K degradation most probably. Update your BIOS, set proper power limits, current limits and lessen the boost frequencies. Then hope your chip isn't too damaged. If this won't help then just RMA the chip. You'll probably get a new 14700K for replacement.

MSI RTX 4700 has known issues with dx12. it's weird because i thaught cs2 ran vulkan over dx.... anyway... using the launch param -dx11 to force dx11 seems to have solved the issue - for now

Im crashing too now randomly. Only started a couple days ago. Happens in CS and Deadlock.

14900K with a 3080TI. just upgraded to driver 566 last night and I crashed just now on CS.

Check out all available updates you can find :
Windows , and Windows optional updates / All browsers / CPU update trough device manager , than from Windows .
Also try this :
Settings / System / Storage / Cleanup recommendations / See advanced options / Remove all files Except Downloads .
Than go Disk Clean-UP / Delete everything .

I used to play this game on an HP Omen 17 laptop with gpu gt910m series for two months straight. And it destroyed the laptop's GPU.

13xxx 14xxx have issue if you dont update your bios or RMA them if too late
intel screw us with them so from now im avoiding intel cpu

Well, I found easy solution for that . I wont let my CPU (I9 13th gen) to go above 60 Celsius .
In CS 2 I have capped FPS on 150 FPS with 144Hz monitor 2560 x 1440p res. (GPU 4090)
When I set it to 400 FPS CPU overheating like crazy , and I dont like that .
Also I dont updating BIOS never , nor GPU every time when new comes out .
For GPU Im updating it when I find it available trough windows optional updates .Currently using 560.94 driver , all works fine with no crashes .
