I appreciate your help, but I'm 99.9999% sure it's not this.
I have sub 30 ping, bandwidth is 750 Mb/s, any time I do any sort of speed test or connection test anywhere be it online or in another game or through my router, I come back with zero packet loss, zero issues, and I get roughly 650Mb/s real time DL, 50-100Mb/s UL. I also never saw giant lag spikes that made me teleport before this update. Something is wrong now, as I'm getting giant 50% packet loss spikes for 30 seconds or so at a time, when I never saw any issues before, and I'm experiencing NONE of these issues on any other online games, many with large packet sizes (arma for instance) and I'm getting no issues with those other games, only with CS2.
I just ran the test, using the CS2 preset they showed, I got 0% packet loss up and down on test, and sub 100ms latency to a server in New Jersey which is half the country away from me. This is so frustrating.
Same I'm hardlined as well. Never have any packet loss or lag in any other game. And I never had it with CS2 either until after this update.
For some reasons twitz and Dupreeh said they were experiencing some heavy lag since the update. I don’t think they have bad setup right ?
So either Valve get their eyes on this issue or nothing will happen. We will see
