TLDR your router/isp can''t keep up with the packet size and speeds CS2 uses
and your getting excessive bufferbloat/jitter.

All the amoury update did was display this as loss on the in game indicator. You have likely been experiencing this since cs2 launched or in other games with large packet sizes,
Not every game tells you your having a jitter problem with your connection, CS2 is one of the few,

I appreciate your help, but I'm 99.9999% sure it's not this.

I have sub 30 ping, bandwidth is 750 Mb/s, any time I do any sort of speed test or connection test anywhere be it online or in another game or through my router, I come back with zero packet loss, zero issues, and I get roughly 650Mb/s real time DL, 50-100Mb/s UL. I also never saw giant lag spikes that made me teleport before this update. Something is wrong now, as I'm getting giant 50% packet loss spikes for 30 seconds or so at a time, when I never saw any issues before, and I'm experiencing NONE of these issues on any other online games, many with large packet sizes (arma for instance) and I'm getting no issues with those other games, only with CS2.

Put in any online game and pick a server far from you.

I just ran the test, using the CS2 preset they showed, I got 0% packet loss up and down on test, and sub 100ms latency to a server in New Jersey which is half the country away from me. This is so frustrating.

I'm currently in game hardwired with 30% packet loss, fine on COD and any other game...

Same I'm hardlined as well. Never have any packet loss or lag in any other game. And I never had it with CS2 either until after this update.

Unfortunately for us Valve are snails. And blind snails it seems.
For some reasons twitz and Dupreeh said they were experiencing some heavy lag since the update. I don’t think they have bad setup right ?
So either Valve get their eyes on this issue or nothing will happen. We will see

but i get about 0.8% late packet and 0% lost packets
jitter about 12ms
ping 60,01ms

here web where i tested https://packetlosstest.com/

even when i push it to the limits im not getting even close to this how cs2 works for me :)))

they fcked up this so much

If jitter makes this then why only in cs2? not in bf, not in lol, not in anything but in cs2?

Its so comfortable to blame users not devs :)
Hi bro, with this test I have 0 packet loss xD. I know is not my Router or something like that because the problem is only CS2.

they said they are working on changing the sizes of packets. None of this is magic. I would imagine what they need to do, is going to be a lot of rewriting code for in-game instances where large packets are sent, and telling the code to split up assets, effects, actions, etc., into more smaller packets than what they're told to be sent in currently. I expect an optimization update coming in the works that addresses all the issues, but this is a lot of work that needs to be done to even out packet size. If a certain amount of total activity on the server causes lag for many players, but their internet routing is just fine in any other online game that might even have more detail, then cs2 servers need additional bandwidth to accommodate for this, more optimized netcode, or both. Otherwise, why would they include a jitter graph and also temporarily run servers with people tossing molotovs and he grenades in one spot? What was that actually for? It was for this packet loss issue, I'm certain of it. They couldn't just tell players to do these behaviors to figure out what would cause too much fluctuation in network traffic. You don't need a gigabit to run this game. You cannot run it past a certain bandwidth, which is 6.2Mbps, even though it says "unlimited", it's still limited, if you type status in console you'll see your bandwidth rate. If you try and set it higher it's not going to work afaik
