Mouse problem
Hello! I have a razer mouse deathadder v3 pro and the problem started after the last big patch/update (when the new operations got introduced).
The issue is when in game (and only in game) is when I move mouse very slowly upwards it almost doesn`t move at all on screen and I can cross the whole pad doing this. But when I do this same slow movement downwards it registers all the time.
In addition I was playing before the update with 8000hz polling rate (hyperpolling budle) and 3200dpi 0.25 sensitivity and everything was working wonderful. AFTER the update with this settings I got the most annoying problem when I move anywhere side to side my aim/mouse the pointer was just racing down the screen. I could bearly keep up the crosshair. THEN I switched backed to 1000HZ polling rate and this issue got a lot smaller to the point it is somewhat playable again. This happens also when wired and also with just hyperspeed bundle. But now testing I have noticed that the crosshair sliding down effect is just very minimal and discovered the problem with moving up slowley (about 1-2mm at a time) mouse is now annoying because I cant adjust upwards minimal aim corrections. Again no problem doing this down or to both sides.
Yes all my drivers and firmware are up to date. Including gpu and windows.
Am I the only one and what is causing this??

This might be a far fetch but if you have low end or otherwise older cpu it could have difficulties to stay up with those crazy refresh rates, or rather polling rates. 8000hz is 8000 more calculations for your CPU per second. And it has super diminishing returns. I bet no man nor woman could tell the difference between 1000hz and 8000hz.

I've seen this cause a lot of weird ♥♥♥♥ and problems in other games for people who have set their mouse polling rate ridiculously high, such as 8000hz.

But then again it could be something else.

Well I have nothing but spaceship for my PC :D 7800X3D and 4090 :)
I could agree but you should try yourself to feel the difference. Be assured that most of the times all the lonely and envious dog bark loud and negative. BUT the thing about polling rate is - the difference is felt from 3200DPI and up. Thats why I play it like that. It feels smoother. But if its in my head then sorry. BUT the problem is with vertical registry of very slow moving mouse at 1000hz polling rate

Mine is just 1000hz and feels slow AF at that setting up and down...left to right not as much
If i set it to 120-250hz (I use 250) its super fast and if i go up i have to change my in game sense to compensate that slow down...so think again
Now each one has its own opinion and whatever
CPU usage at 1000hz its 3-5% and at 250% its 1-2% depends on how fast you move but never goes above those numbers for me so i dont even wanna think about your 8000hz XD

If there are problems with the mouse, you need to contact a repair service and find out this situation with them.

I dont think there is something wrong with the mouse because this problem only occurs in CS2 and INGAME, it works perfectly in CS2 menu. But ok I will contact razer also. BUT like I said it worked like charm before the update. So it shouldnt be the mouse.

Well I have tested with analytical programs and can say that 8000Hz polling rate can be used while playing FPS and the smoothness is there is your dpi is 3200 or higher. Will actually try the 30000dpi and lower the sensitivity accordingly and will see if it gets even smoother. If you try it yourself then please remember to lower the sens also in all windows system (that does not effect anything in CS2 ingame).
And Sir, I have tested my pc settup with 3 browsers open with atleast 30 tabs open, spotify open and much more. I still have to limit my fps in game and the CPU usage and temp bearly get both above 60% and 60* :D CS2 is walk in the park for my system. Not braging just informing :)

reset the mouse by holding left + middle + right buttons for 7 seconds

Also, make sure you are on fullscreen, not fullscreen windowed, as the latter can cause that problem with mice

MY MAN !!! THANK YOU! While the mouse reset didnt do nothing (I tried that already before) your comment about fullscreen no fullscreen windowed solved this issue. Yeey. Did the aspect ratio in nvidia settings fullscreen and the 4:3 then works in game like it should :)
THANK YOU AGAIN sKOsH
