Do Laptop Players have a Disadvantage?
Enemies look smaller and harder to see from afar with a smaller screen on a laptop... Any laptop csgo players here who have a say?

Yeah. I can easily do a comparison considering that my brother is a CS:GO Monitor player, and i'm a laptop one.

The brightness is usually a issue but it can be solved in the game settings.

But it does scale less than in a usual PC monitor.

Yes, basically not cause of the size of the screen more for the screen update
frequency, 60hz cause many people on pc plays at 144 or 240

If its what youre used to youre at no real disadvantage. I play with a high spec 17" laptop and have zero issues, although I do have it on a stand with an apex m750 and glorious model O plugged in for general gaming.

The majority of gaming laptops have way higher than 60hz screens these days.

Nope, no disadvantage at all if you have a good laptop. For example, 144hz, stable fps and if you play on 4:3 you have big head models. so there is literally no difference

What about potato or low spec laptops or PCs in general? Is it obvious for them to have a disadvantages?
Nojusj7 Apr 20, 2020 @ 6:05am

I did say gaming laptops, not potatoes. There are very few with less than 75hz, and most are 120hz and upwards at least.

Yesssss. I have an 11' laptop screen. I play on minimum settings. Its not possible for me to see from Pit to A bomb in dust 2. Or CT spawn to B doors.

These other people probably play in medium and default resolution. I play lowest 4:3 stretched. Mid to close range is a easy sight. Any further and it hurts my eyes. I've tried everything to help me out.

The closest I got to seeing small things was using the 'windows magnifier' and putting it on my crosshair. It doesnt work.

The main reason i can't see is mainly due to the anti-lasting. This pixels are a huge jumbled up mess far away.

Especially in mirage. When pushing B I can't see bench from the window because all the pixels are mixing with each other
