How long would it take for me to reach rank 40?

How long would it take for me to reach rank 40? (from level 14)
I'm currently trying to get the 2024 service medal before the year ends. I am currently at rank 14 Anyone know if it is still possible for me to get to rank 40?

20 weeks give or take, you can grind 2 rank easily in a week, and after that it become impossible to grind more exp

My bad I thought you meant from rank 0, if you’re at rank 14 which leaves you 26 more rank.

You can only gain 2 lvls each week max, beyond to that is almost impossible to lvl up more unless you're a full time unemployed or something.

Your weekly normal rate XP win is capped at 11200. After that you start getting 1/8 of XP each round until the next weekly XP refresh on Wednesday.

We have 11 weeks left to finish this year (2024).

11 x 11200 = 123200

123200 / 5000 = 24 levels

14 + 24 = 38

If you get enough gameplay and XP on some the remainder weeks with slowed down XP gain then you can make it to the 2024 medal.

i don't think you will make it to lv40 this year. you got ~11 weeks and at best you can get 2 or rarely 3 ranks a week. but your rank carries over the next year so maybe grind for 2025 service medal.

3 ranks each week is nearly impossible unless they have their professional gear with them, then it is possible.

so basically i should just grind for the 2025 medal instead xD

You need 11,819 XP every week starting next reset until New Years. Depending how much XP you can still earn this week maybe significantly less.
It's doable but you'll be looking at 30+ matchmaking games every week until the end of the year. Doable but not fun

It is not doable unless he is a gearer, can play the game 24/7 then it is possible.

It's doable. I aimed at an average of 11.7k for an entire year. Sometimes I played more, sometimes I played less. OP just has to consistently play 4-5 matches a day which isn't fun but also by no means 24/7 gaming

if you arent the type of person who would spend hours a day playing comp then i dont recommend trying

weekly xp bonus stops after a couple wins and after that you have to win and play good in comp matches, otherwise its impossible to get xp

1.5-2 levels x week, playing Premier-Competitive till double EXP expires,
But i think you'll reach 37-38 at last week of December,but if you win most of your games with double Exp you can reach 40,it's a challenge for you
