How do I shoot a moving target?
Ok, so lately i've been struggling in cs go. I'm trying to learn the spray patterns and i did, well at least to control it pretty well. But it seems like, when i see an enemy, stop start shooting crouch and normal stuff, i just look like a noob trying to spray this dude and he just gets a moving headshot on me, im talking about short- mid range. So, what is the best way to kill a moving target, trying to spray him down, bursting, or one tapping. Plz help this is killing me, and thx

dont crouch. dont think it help on that many guns. your spray/recoil will be the same as standing. for me personally bursting is the best answer. only spray when his really close or he gets you off guard. tapping is only good for long range or deadly accurate shots (ak kill with 1 shot in the head)

The best way to kill your opponent is to predict his movement. Instead you will just hunt him with your cursor like a madman. But this is hard to master, requires lot of experience. Its quite a good feeling to just have some guy run into your cursor, and then push the button to blast him into the oblivion. Look on some of the progamers game style - they dont move the cursor when they dont have to. Minimize your mouse movements, rationalize. Take cover, peek, and then try to aim on the enemy. Hide and try to prefire. Dont just stand in the open spraying.

Well, Im glad I could be of help. And try not to spray when your opponent is near (or hiding) the corner. The majority of bullets will just create a holes in the walls. And he will just wait for the end of your fire, knowing you have a recoil to reset (and possibly zero to low ammo in the clip), and then just pop out and 2-3 shot you.

Have in mind that shots make the enemy slow down....So, if you become really good at spray, moving enemies won't be a problem.

Stay still when you fire. Counter-strafe so that you cancel your momentum and come to a stop quicker. Recoil has a reset that must be waited for, but movement inaccuracy is tied directly to your movement. You will not have to wait any longer than the exact moment that you come to a stop to get the best accuracy, even if you use extra tricks to stop faster.

Use a low sensitivity. The better you use logic to deduce the likely approach direction of the enemy, the less often you'll need to make fast spins. So you can shift your priority to having a sensitivity that's more suitable to tracing a target with larger hand movements.

Don't crouch as a means to control yourself. It's not at all useful for that. It's really only good for duping enemies. Keeping yourself hidden for an opportunity or briefly adding a vertical element to an enemy that's trying to line up on your head. The latter of which is only reasonable to try up close.

Edit: Oh and your mode of fire should really depend on your range and weapon. At very close, spray em. At mid range you burst, but don't do more than 1 or 2 shots until you've practiced the pull-down of any of the following 1-4 shots. At long range I wouldn't even recommend using as many as 4 shots per burst. This is the case with standard rifles at least.

The M4A1-S has a weaker recoil kick than other standard rifles (while the suppressor is still attached). And the pulldown needed for the 3rd AK shot is pretty easy to grasp for up to a good distance.

There are lots of video tutorials out there, if you click of the Trailers tab on the CS:GO store, you can find to tips and tricks from there!

And bear in mind, you dont have to posses a godly aim. Not unless you intend to play as a pro. Player who can outsmart the opponent is just as deadly. Delaying, or waiting for the teammate (who is in a better position) to take the guy out etc. is as much important. And you dont always have to engage, just to prove that "you are good, oh yeah". Try to get a better position, wait for a situation you feel comfortable to be in. Force your opponent to go out of his usual habbits.
Go ninja, pop out of nowhere, shoot a few bullets, then try again. Be unpredictable, vary your game style. If your opponent dont know what you will do, he cant properly prepare. Uncertain opponent is a half-dead opponent.

Well, no. You do 2 shots per burst, or, preferably, you don't burst.

the old question. if you really can controll the recoil very good (even on moving target), OFC spray. spray makes more hits in time than single bursts (IF you hit with the spray).
well since really good control of recoil is very hard and always different (depends on the distance of opponent), you should prefer single bursts then. and not crouch, crouch only if you are camping, or coming from behind to make a precise shot. otherwise, burst, move, burst, move and so on
