Why did Valve abandoned the console version of CS:GO?
I should have know that they would after they did the same with TF2.

Now I can't buy it for PC because i refuse to pay for a game twice. I already paid $15 for the PS3 version :/

on the ps3 it wasnt broken,it worked better than the pc to be honest and there was no cheats at all,all we needed was some updates with the new maps but we got ripped off.

I never got dc'd once on ps3 even on the american servers,running and gunning was much better too.

Why wouldn't you buy the game for PC? You will easily get your money back (because of case drops). Some people even buy multiple accounts just for drops.

As I said, I can't spend $30 for the same game. Maybe when it's a dollar or two.

Yeah, thta's pretty much what i mean (thoight it costs 10.99 euro i think, not quite $30). I payed like 5 euro for complete CS pack and easily made my money back.

I think it has to do with microsoft charing valve for updates that were meant to be free, not because of sale failure.

1) Because it's a game not meant for consoles.

2) Because it can be extremely pricey to update on consoles, and with all the updates flying about, consoles will never get an update, especially with a low number of people who actually play CS on consoles.

3) The PC Master Race. Smart people like smart games on smart platforms. This last one was more of a joke.

I know this is old... I buy this game on PS3 first, it was easier to get online... No windows boot, no steam boot, just turn on de console and you are in... With the PS3 you can use keyboard and mouse, so the experience is the same! I finally buy it on PC cuz there are no updates on consoles... And that's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ move from valve! They promised cross platform online gameplay, but drop it cuz updates cost... Consoles never received a single update! Nothing!!! And maybe that's why the game sells poor... I can't recommend it, even if I play it every day!! I think valve is a greed ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ corp just as others... Rockstar by the other had is one of the greatest corp.! EVER!! GTA5is better than ever! Even when they move to next Gen consoles and PC... And don't get me wrong! I love valve!! But they ♥♥♥♥ it with CSGO on consoles...

the game sells poor?! are you serious? its the second most played game on steam now!
