After the 28/1/15 patch I cant play either. After I launch Steam and Cs:Go, black screen appears, game requires steam error msg, ctrl+alt+del end procccesses, restart steam and the same is happening. Any fix yet SUPPORT ?

One guy at the forum posted this and it actually works:

Move your STEAMAPPS folder somewhere else.
Uninstall Steam after this
Restart your PC
Install Steam again
Move your STEAMAPPS folder back to the original place you had it before.

Start playing your games, this got it working for me. :)

Just because you have a knife doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥. An unranked could open a crate and get a knife or just buy it.

some solutions above are right!

My solution is open Task Manager on Windows and End process of Steam.exe. Then just launch steam again. It will download new version of steam. After Steam upgrading, we can fight again :3

do beta test of new steam, you can change this in settings, it helped me!
