I started out saying I wouldn't buy any skins and just use the ones the game gave me, but they just sorta grew on me. Spending a bit of money every now and then definitely has added up, but it still doesn't seem like too bad a contribution considering how much I like Valve.
This criticism has nothing to do with my post. Its not about me not liking them, its about how creative they are. Go to Game Banana and look at their CS:S and CS 1.6 skins compare it to now and you will see a tremendous drop in quality. Now days they are literally just in the most basic sense going into Photoshop and just putting patterns all over an existing model. In CS:S they had taken the time to make a new model, and even brand new animations in most of the skins.
Well that would be because besides knifes you are not allowed to change a guns apperance just its skin...and the community votes for the skins through the workshop so its more of a community problem which skins get added
this would be you being a part of the team at csgo and you probly cash in big time ...wow what you developed a gun skin that is in the csgo game and on the market place....awsome $$$$$$$$
Which is why it is completely unnecessary, it is just a pattern with a bunch of stars and "pretty" lines and colors.
Some how I do not think you know what you're talking about. Modding is often encouraged by a lot of companies and in some cases makes the game better. Valve and Bethesda are good examples of companies who purposely leave their games open to modding. CS:GO isn't as open to modding as you would think, even though you can still skin it using the files they made it harder and seem as if they were restricting you from doing it. Because Valve wanted to make money instead of allowing you to skin it yourself. Regarding your statement of"An actual weapon" is completely wrong as its just someone who slapped a paint can on an existing gun and said "tiem to maik muneh"
I think I am just going to flag you for advertising, but I may keep as you are an example thank you!
