Reason why you don't see the Rare Item when unboxing cases

It doesn't matter about the items scrolling by. It's all just random.

The only thing that does show is the item you get.

I edited some text file just for fun. It changed everything that showed, but in the end, it doesn't matter. The item you get is always the same.

The scrolling weapons is just for fun/intensify your lust for those unboxes.

It's basically just like TF2's unboxing.

You wait your 5 seconds and you get an item!

But here you see weapons scrolling, making you think on what you could get. :D

Everytime I'm gonna unbox, I'ma make it so everything is a knife. I'll record everytime I do, incase I do get a knife drop. If I do get a knife drop, I'll upload it and say hax.

Of course not, you can easily verify this by going to youtube or another site and type "cs: go knife unboxing", most of them are silvers and gold novas, rare dmgs/eagles/supreme masters, but people still try to convince me that the rank has nothing to do with it. Really?

Sure, but you'd have to change it back after you're done or else you can't play Competitive/sv_pure 1 servers.

Open your items_game.txt in Counter-Strike Global Offensive/csgo/scripts/items

Go to line #21,162

OR

Search for crate_valve_1. It should have crate_valve_1_rare/mythical/legendary/ancient under it.

Remove everything but unusual_revolving_list for just the knife symbol.

Rare = Blue
Mythical = Purple
Legendary = Pink
Ancient = Red

crate_valve_1 = Weapon Case 1
crate_valve_2 = Weapon Case 2
crate_valve_3 = Weapon Case 3

crate_esports_2013 = Esports Case
crate_esports_2013_winter = Esports Winter Case
