A griefer is a villain who intentionally plays like an idiot for causing his team to lose the match. A new specie of these scumbags are blackmailers which ask their teammates for skins to win the match (skins or demote).

Teamflash when you know that it will blind your teammates. Throwing a molotov near your teammates preventing them from getting to one point from another. Damage your team on purpose. Playing against your team and preventing them from achieving the goals of their side (ct/t)

so once i got a retarded team mate when i didnt know what griefing was i was the one trying to help us win and the guy would purposely go and drop the c4 right in front of enemy and do stuff like that go afk and give away our positions and i missed a 4v1 clutch just because he gave away my position to my enemy we were so pissed and obviously didnt know we could report him for griefing my team mate was shooting him and i decided to shoot him and well i landed a dgl 1 shot and got a 7 day frickin ban fml :p but that was a long time ago hahah

Lets say I aced and because of this my friend who I am voice chatting with(Skype) wants to get the MVP Star by defusing it. He's defusing, I kill him then get the bomb defuse in the end anyways and after that round i gave him his weapon back(Primary and Secondary) even though the whole team already had $16000...Is that griefing? I didnt lose us the round, I didnt lose us the bomb defuse, none of my teammates lost their guns. Would that be counted as griefing?Thank you.

Well, if you were reported to Overwatch, then that might count - after all, they can't tell if you're friends with the guy or not, so it just looked as if you've killed him to get the MVP for yourself.
