is there a way to turn off the menu?

Im pretty annoyed with the couple seconds it takes everytime for the menu to load the pointless background animation and the slow fadeouts-ins.

Is there a way like a launch command or something to turn off all the animation in the main menu?
It can show just a black screen for all I care,
