Bunnyhopping suddenly easier than it was just days ago?

Days ago, I was testing out some bunnyhopping with cl_showpos 1 up on an offline server. sv_autobunnyhopping is set to false. I am able to go above 250 velocity and maintain 260, 270, 280, all the way to 330 on some hops, and I can seemingly hop like 7 times in a row consistently.

I noticed this on a warmup workshop map, and then I figured, maybe it's just the way that map is configured?

So I loaded up de_nuke, with the large outside area. Nope, it somehow works really well when it didn't just a couple days ago.

I'm not complaining, but I don't know how this is now possible when bunnyhopping proved to only allow a player to gain some velocity with only a few hops and going on sloped downward ground, typically.

Now I can bounce around like a bouncy ball....mmkay. It's not as op as it was in cs:s, but it's now....nothing like I remember. For a while, bhopping was easy for me, then it definitely got nerfed....now it is not as nerfed.

I think you might have just learned how to bunny hop.

Did you restart the game?
Often workshop map cvars stay set as they were on other maps too

Something seems has changed.
Variation on standing jumps used to be 0.01, now it occasionally drops by 0.03.
Will do a bit more testing.

Bhops seem much the same to me, tbh.

ah no, I didn't...I will go ahead and do that right now....because I am honestly confused as to what is happening. It's working by hitting the w key and strafe keys and I'm not touching the ground and running between jumps...and it shouldn't work with the w key...it's like if they did change the bunnyhopping, they made it easier? Idk, I'll restart and see right now. It's just too weird to see my stamina go down and my jump height stay essentially constant with the velocity increasing.

It's still happening...and I am on an offline practice server with just bots, and I have no practice config loaded. sv_cheats is 0

and now I have infinite nades..? Seriously...I do. What is going on?

Edit: also infinite ammo and always full magazine...also if I buy a smoke, flash, nade, and molly, it just gives me the 2nd flash but I have infinite of all of them

and the grenade preview camera came up during this test match against bots. I don't want to get banned getting into a public server and having these settings still. This is a huge glitch that can cause major problems and get people banned if it still keeps the settings when joining a public server. I'm scared to do this....and I wanted to play casual for a bit and then some comp.... :(
