I have a gaming laptop but the game only runs at 60fps

My laptop is a 2022 ASUS Rog TUF 15 with an I5 and an RTX 3500 graphics card, with 16 GB of RAM the game runs poorly, any solution?

What is the GPU utilization? 3050 is a fairly weak card and this game isn't CS:GO. If it's not temperature-related, my bet would be the 3050 going against the lighting and the smoke effects.

Maybe buy a new laptop?

But you have the solution. 60 fps is great. Your laptop will die in 2 years if you over heat it. Because it's a laptop not a toaster.
