Knowing how greedy VALVE and CS2 playerbase is, I would assume they will add a "fix" to that. Since they don't even allow client-side skin changers and ban for them.

I've never had skins and I've never cared about them, I usually play on community servers and here you can use many skins because there are many interesting modifications and a great variety,

it's just that those "rented" skins can encourage scammers to become more active, of which there are a lot now
