Stop playing CS2 for weekly drops
Even a McDonald's store will pay you $15 per hour for working, far more than how much you can earn through this game. Valve is making profits from their players (the people who are farming weekly drops) but paying them a low-paid salary. It is slavery, you guys must stop doing that.

To make it clear, you should play the game for fun, not to earn because it isn't worth.

I literally just take the drops and then let them accumulate and then trade them up. It's still a freebie skin. Better than the ones I trade up typically....not usually anything rare or special, but it's forcing the permanent destruction of ten skins of a certain float and pattern, for one skin to be made in its place. After a while of doing this, one is eventually going to get a fairly rare skin. I'll just mindlessly play casual to farm for weekly drop. It's done pretty quickly

I mean, it's something that you might as well collect, since it's given to you. I thought...maybe I could stick it to valve by not even claiming my weekly drops. Impossible it will still force you to take them...so I might as well use them as ten freebies in infinite trade up contracts :-\

Some skins I got rid of in the past ended up skyrocketing in price, and it's...free money....like the butterfly knife that I had originally $75, or the glock dragon tattoo, sold for $3.33, and it's worth about $300 now, so I'm not going to just pass up on random freebies in a game. I know I can't get a knife from a trade up, but the odds are always there to literally get almost any other skin, which can be worth a lot.

I mean, I have all the skins I like playing with. They're not all fancy...it's like a theme, or some of them I use for an advantage...like the m4a1-s varicamo, works well on ancient, dust, mirage, anubis. yes I could use my black lotus, but that stands out more.

Also if I focus less on the quality of skins in my inventory, maybe it'll become less of a big deal for others in terms of their inventory....and that it doesn't need to be incredibly stacked.

And I do play this game only for fun, when I really want to play exactly this game.

But playing for a case drop? lol
It's ~$0.26 case, to get a level up you need about 3 comp matches so it might take up to 3 hours, as a result you get ~$0.08 per hour. I think even actual slaves get more, because they get food which worth more than this.

People who hate this game and keep playing it just for weekly drops are literally wannable slaves and masochists. I can't even imagine how bad the quality of life it must be to fall that low.

The trick is to grind for the weekly drop during work hours.
So you get paid for your time anyway, and then valve gives you a nice weekly bonus, which can sometimes be pretty high if you hit the rare drop pool.
I myself dropped some of the early weapon cases recently, so even despite my quite high salary (for Germany), the drops were still worth my time. I think it was 80€ or something like that, for one 15 minute game of wingman.
