list of suggestions for cs2
list yours or opinions on mine.

1.a feature to set preferred load outs to certain maps. on office i like having shotguns for example. some maps i like scoped weapons some i dont. is an easy change before queuing but if you want to queue up multiple you are locked in one load out. either this or a load out shuffler that lets you set multiple load out options the game automatically will shuffle through randomly per match.

2. better market browsing experience. it has improved but to many different collections, items patterns and templates to scan through the way its set up makes it tedious and time consuming.

3. one obvious fix they could implement toward match making is do not pair someone who has 200 games on a map with someone who has 1. do not pair a level 20 steam account with a level 1 steam account. Do not pair an unranked player with a player who has earned the rank already. Allow for the option of faster wait times less accurate matching or longer wait times for accurate skill matching. meaning if im silver 2 in the very least my teammates should be silver 1-3 and same for the other team. I have queued up games where my team is silver 3 or less and the other team has gold nova , silver elite and three unranked players who played like MGs. Its not a rare occurrence this sort of thing happens a lot and you hit walls of it all the time in the low ranks making it very hard to grasp what skill progression in this game is actually like. bad for new players or casuals who are trying to improve and want to take the game more serious.

4. faster action taken on account reviews. It hasn't been very often in cs2 where i say there is no way this guy isnt cheating. but if i watch a match demo and its just blatant every single round and i report the player in game and on steam and months later i see they are not banned and like 3 ranks higher meaning they are let to go on ruining the game for others and progressing in game wayyyy to long. A lot of people try cs and never touch it again because of toxic players or cheaters and when action isn't taken quick enough people start to feel like this game is for the cheaters not legit players.

5. premier map picking is a waste of time. automate it make it random and make it not repeat maps until it cycles through them. people troll pick the maps the others have momentum on in the low ranks or they dont like learning anything but mirage nuke and dust 2 and you end up with more bad teammates and matches and a fixation on these maps in premier over anything else.

6. All comp maps should be in premier. you should be able to get a premier level ranking on any map considered competitive. including hostage maps. Like i said previously the premier pool leans heavy on three maps anyway the way its set up. This imo leads to quicker burn out and game play that feels like the same loop without needing to learn new things for way to long. a comp pool of 12 maps to me seems better than 7.

7. more in game data. show all the data thats in the steam profile section in game but displayed nicely and organized so players can actually grasp what their performance is like and others without needing to use 3rd party websites. show gun kills , match wins, mvps all of this in the in game menus. many games have this. players loop this game a lot. they like to try to improve. they like to see numbers go up. its why these third party sites exist but we shouldnt have to go out of the game to see all this.

8. in game tournament mode with prizes monitored by overwatch. skins or steam credit prizes in game for cs would be really cool.

9. more map guides. its easy to load them up through workshop but the train map guide as official in game content imo has increased the amount of players who know util in the lower ranks and that map guide is very basic it can be expanded on to help low rank players really grasp the way to play the game and the maps without needing to pop up youtube or download maps.

10. game modes that help with aim training in game - like mini games, aim labs type of thing but as official in game content . When everything is put off onto the community content and 3rd party websites it seems like it ends up having way less reach to the general player base . I think this also makes the game appear more new player friendly if thinking about new player perspective on things the more you have in game to guide people and inform people on their stats and performance and ways to best play the game the better. in its current state its a very hard game to suggest to new players.

11. better communication from valve over anti cheat and upcoming content and fixes to reduce the constant toxic wave of negativity from sour players. i also think the lack of this increases the amount of players trying to ruin the game for others.

12. if you block or mute a player or report them for cheating it should be impossible to get matched with them again or at least not until their account has been fully reviewed.

13. new guns

14. more balancing to the awp.

15. c4 skins. stat track c4. stickers on c4.
same for nades and armor

16. agency, and a map with falling snow where it sticks to the models and guns like the rain on train.

17. more weather effect maps in general.

18. mirage is to bright.

19. more wingman maps

20. new agent skins and adjusting any current agent so that they are all balanced the same and are all as readable as the other in a match. some agents look like the other team . causes issues. some have different hit boxes for their head apparently as well.

21. charms and stickers on knives.

22. a new util weapon.

23. second option for melee weapon besides knife.

24.) a npc cameraman that runs around and films the action, which is onesided on the CT side, that can be taken hostage by the t and used as a shield.
25.) a npc bombbuilder that collects bottles and sodacan to make improvised IEDs working for the T side.
26.) A option to perform suicide in a cs map for the last remaining player on the T side so that the ct can't win too easily. Needs a timer, from 6-9 seconds or so.

Not a bad idea, but the solution is to REMOVE THE LOADOUT SYSTEM COMPLETELY.
It is useless and serves no purpose, since you can change the Loadout while in a game and equip whatever you want.

Good in theory, unfortunately it's inapplicable. Implementing this would result in matchmaking taking 30+ minutes.

This is not a good point. If it's been over 3 months and that player is not banned, I have to say he's not cheating. Currently VAC bans with a delay of +/- 3 months. Going above this and you still see them play, they're not cheating.

Terrible suggestion. CS2 has a strategy layer too, removing this would turn it into CoD.

WHAT??? NO! Absolutely no hostage map is balanced.

No, this would encourage botting.

im not sure i have seen some ideas suggested for other types of util but im not sure what i think should be added just that there is potential for more options.
anything to increase tactical game play decisions and stuff is nice.

the knife is very iconic to cs. that doesnt mean it has to be the only melee option but i see your point. i guess this also makes me consider than maybe another zeus slot weapon with the same range could be interesting too. but maybe the same point applies as the knife

the map picking is no strategy layer to premier. i really dont buy that. it just comes off as a waste of time or leans heavier toward some maps than others. i at least am not understanding why people like this. i actually think it makes the pool lean heavy toward the maps where aim alone can carry you and map knowledge and tactical decisions through out the round arent as important its more position and aim like mirage and dust 2. there is more strategy involved on maps like vertigo and anubis.

Im all for better!, but what does that intale. Anything could improve if it was better

like if an account is reported they start collecting data immediately. or its put into over watch immediately and reviewed or a demo of the match is added to any report for review. not really sure how to do this best im just kind of throwing out ideas and seeing what people say. it just seems like an account isn't really reviewed until it hits a certain number of reports and that number might be to high.

yeah good point. but thats why i said or at least until their account has been reviewed but without like an instantaneous review process it doesn't make sense and i agree with you.

I am not sure how to best balance the awp but i have seen good arguments why balancing it more can improve the game play especially at the mid and higher levels. maybe just an over all weapon rebalancing / economy change could be a better solution too.

yeah good point. but thats why i said or at least until their account has been reviewed but without like an instantaneous review process it doesn't make sense and i agree with you.

I am not sure how to best balance the awp but i have seen good arguments why balancing it more can improve the game play especially at the mid and higher levels. maybe just an over all weapon rebalancing / economy change could be a better solution too.

:neonbr: Bring back kill cam in casual (an improved version like I suggested - for details ask me please)

:neonbr: Make that kill cam watchable and rewatchable by every player at a casual match

:neonbr: Bring back damage report in console immediatly after you died

:neonbr: Bring back "status" information in console (player ID etc.)

:neonbr: STOP ruining map pools by adding new custom maps to it :s_no: make separate map pool for new custom maps - whoever wants to play those new custom maps can join that map pool...

Both teams should see the result of this cheater-votekick and a list of the names of the voters and what they have voted. Only the team with the accused cheater can vote, but both teams should see the result of that special votekick with the names of the players who voted and what they have voted.

i didnt know they hit while scoping nerf. maybe that is all it needed.

what issue is there with custom maps. vs the official? i just notice people complain on any map not considered a classic and its usually stemming from them not knowing the map as well but they dont explain further their issues with them. I am curious because all these maps added are really nice and fun and there is like a wall of people crying about it even people queuing the maps crying about them in game

And yes, I am starting off with....

-Gravity knife-- that deploys downward at an angle that matches the viewmodel of the 1.5 knife when having knife out - that's the only knife I would rather have than the one I use...and I've used them all. I know, it's silly in terms of a priority, but it would be a hit....and would be infinitely better than that fork/trident knife that was supposedly found in the game files that looks like a miniature energy sword from halo

-More focus on strengthening anti-cheat. Roll out quick vac scans of non-comp game modes using little bandwidth every so often. Roll out vacnet 3.0 to all comp games.

-They're coming out with cache cbble lake and bank as the next maps that are essentially almost done. I expect a christmas/holiday release on them, or early january. cbble for sure, probably a special winter edition like we had once, then after the holidays it will just be normal cbble? They've used cbble as a seasonal map before, for halloween and the december holidays.

-For the love of god let me get a smoke to land on top of Red train on A on de_train on T side, so it cascades down and blocks off sightline from gap to sandwich. It feels impossible. I gave up trying to get one to land on the top left corner.

-I would like the killcam back in casual game modes.

-Bring back community overwatch

-revitalize the community server browser and have it work, and have different game modes and plugins that you can get from the workshop and workshop maps to play custom game modes.

-optional, random thought, I can completely do without, it's just another cosmetic thing: allow for tattoos to be applied to the arms

and.....that's it.

-Keep optimizing netcode.
