Inspect skins link isn’t working.

when i click the inspect link on a browser it asks me to open cs2 and when it does i don’t see the inspected item, neither when i have the game open prior to clicking the link. I’ve verified my cs2 installation, rebooted my pc, restarted my game, reinstalled windows and cs2 as a whole overnight and the problem still persists. checked online for about 2 hours and there’s no fix other than copying the inspect link and pasting it in console then removing some characters which isn’t convenient at all. can someone help me fix this as i saw some more people creating discussions on this topic.

Yeah, I did said it to Valve, also there a major performance drop when inspecting an item, do you experience that after the train map update?

i don’t really experience a performance drop because i can’t even get the skin to inspect, the game is acting weird after the train update for sure tho.

i don’t really experience a performance drop because i can’t even get the skin to inspect, the game is acting weird after the train update for sure tho.

I mean that when I inspect an item I own
the fps dropped a lot (I used my laptop recently because I can't use my desktop recently) it dropped from 60 to 20 or lower
and the inspecting room map has a terrible lighting that makes my skin or model preview looks like a flashbang weapon model, and the lag isn't caused by map loading, it's for an unknown reason that might be related to lighting issues I assume, although I'm a modder/dev with the source 1 engine but I can't give a definitive answer to why it happened, if we can let more people report this issue valve might fix it,

Reinstall Steam and CS2, this has been the fix for everyone having this issue.

Guys I found that external websites can launch the skin inspect command, for example csgoskins.gg can inspect my skins in-game with the view in game button

For everyone thats wondering why its not working, i belive they fxxk something up with the link itself,

Yea, some link on steam is working, only a few is broken.

So who should we report this problem to? Valve or Steam. I really hope it can be solved. I'm troubled a lot, after searching a lot but still unable to view skins in game with exact patters and degree of wear. Well, I mean I still can't find a way to view the skin 100% percents the same as what I want to purchase in steam market.
