CS 2 file size (~46 GB) is too large for me to install it

I used to play CS:GO, I have about 500 hours. I was really excited for CS2 and did play it a bit at release, but uninstalled it due to not having time to play. Now I want to get back into it, but as the title says - it is just too large.

I have tons of games that are just always installed (e.g. Terraria, TF2, Trackmania 2020) and as this is the same computer I use for Game Dev I just can't fit it. I don't remember CS:GO being half a COD game in size, it used to be a no-brainer to just install it on all my computers.

I can't afford to buy a second M.2 drive for my gaming laptop. I don't want to have an external drive just for games (I have to move my laptop a lot). I don't even care what the game looks like at this point, its not worth the drive cost for me.

Any thoughts? Am I just a mid 20s boomer or do I have a point?

Not a popular opinion, but yeah, its starting to piss me off that CS weights 70gb on my disk, just because they keep expanding the casino, but thats where their money comes from, so womp womp
