Question about csgo legacy

Hey guys, I just downloaded csgo legacy on steam and played it for a little bit. I found some active community servers where the skin changer was available. To my knowledge, its legal (correct me if I am wrong)
Now my question… after closing csgo, starting cs2, joining a lobby with friends and starting to search for a normal mm we got the notification that I am not able to play on secure servers because of my nonexistent VAC. I restarted the game and everything is back to normal. But now I am curious to why I got that notification, even tho I am pretty sure that I haven’t done anything wrong, I am still worried. Can someone help me and tell me that I am making myself go crazy without reason?

It's probably more of a coincidence that you happened to get a vac error than it being related to you playing csgo on a community server with skins. The vac error is a lot more common in cs2 than it was in csgo.

As long as you get the skins from a server mod and not by installing scripts/cheats you're fine

thats good to hear, i was worried because i never had that vac problem before.
