Funny fact about hackers in CS2
Hello guys, I go straight to the point.
I play CS2 on Dubai server. I used to play a lot more back in CS:GO but now just enough to get the weekly drop. And I have never even thought about using cheats.

But through out the past couple of months, I have came across a noticeable pattern. In some weeks matchmaking for me takes longer than usual and I am matched with blatant or smei-blatant (!) hackers. It is like the game itself knows who is cheating and I am matched with them having a loss streak! Imagine facing 4 spin bot consecutively!

And also there are weeks that not a single cheater is matched against me!
That is funny and disappointing that even the game and statistics indicate who cheats (math never lies) yet valve doesn't give a ****!

What do you think? Any similar experience to share?

My trust has always been green and i play this since Half Life. I skipped CS GO entirely and with barely 200 hrs in CS 2/CS GO combined I still make top frags every match... so it`s safe to assume i get called a cheater & reported very often. Yet my factor remains green and I haven`t noticed any meaningful patterns in matchmaking. Did plenty of reporting too since i do have over 25k hours in this game and it hasn`t changed much in the past 20 years.
Some days or even times of the day there just aren`t enough legit players. Legit players get bored or frustrated pretty quick. As an ex server owner with 400k+ bans under my belt I guarantee you that cheaters are the most devoted players period. They have their entire PC prepared to reinstall, hwid spoof, etc and can join back within 5 minutes. It does not matter if you hwid ban them or even if you leave a file on their pc to mark it... What i know from personal experience is that If you are too harsh & ban too many cheaters from your game/server you won`t have players left. The majority of cheaters toggle when they see someone else raging and since Valve curbed community servers (removed FastDL, gun models, etc) now they just HvH all the time as no admins are present. FaceIt is way better not because their detection has kernel priv but because they have paid admins who are online 24/7 taking care of anything that slips through.

I think there may be some truth to the posts about reporting others to much.

Aka, reporting to many times will put you in the low trust pool for "punishment".

I did notice on my alt when it was in low trust factor, I had "unlimited reports" while on my main, I only have like 20 reports a week or something.

Wouldnt frigging surprise me.

It makes sense. one week you are in the the good trust pool and get frags and wins, and naturally people think you are hacking, report you and for the next week you are in the bad trust pool ready to lose, but this time you dont get reported and get back to the good trust pool!

And the cycle continues ... Makes sense XD

But what still haunts me is the fact that the game obviously identifies (or at least tags cheaters), but valve doesn't do any thing to punish them!

Nah it does not detect even the simplest of cheats. Matchmaking is based on how many players are available and cheaters are the most dedicated players...There will be days when nobody else is playing

It surely is useless in detecting cheats. What I am saying is that numbers don't lie. The matchmaking system is clearly based on statistics (most importantly trust factor).

Just by looking at the rate one player has gotten reported and their stats in games the game clearly has a judgement on how things are.

And about the cheaters being the most dedicated players. Well, I dont think it works that way. Because there are weeks that I am matched with clean players (No hackers at all) and honestly they are even new and noob and I get easy wins!

I just want to join a casual server now and then, hit some heads and leave. No ties attached, and if the phone rings I can pick it up and leave the game. I do not believe faceit provides that feature? Never the less I am really against using a third party to play CS2.

Maybe I should add that I also played both 1.6 and GO, and I really have no clue why my trust factor should be specially low however cheaters are a real issue.

That is not even true, if you have green trustfactor, you will never see any variants of cheaters.

Link your csstats. Since you play 1.6 till now mean you got good game sense. I think you get reported to often or you report and call out cheater often it’s one of those. I still get cheaters but not often like before. I stop report cheaters and call them out. Also not as good as i was in csgo. At the end of csgo when they remove overwatch i met heaps of cheaters. Reason i drop 30 frags often and sometime 40. So report button work it’s just their trust factor can’t tell if your a cheater or a good player so they group you together. If you play bad in that group they move you out. Rinse and repeat and before the troll say ask for proof which no one can this is base on my experience only.

It does not have casual but it`s the difference between having anti-cheat or absolutely no detection whatsoever.

First game today and we have a blatant cheater[ibb.co] right away. 14 kick attempts failed in under 10 minutes and it`s not like he is hiding...

It is easy to accuse people. Maybe you can check my play times and stuff before you start eating **** with your who knows what private account. Kids every where. If you dont want to talk about the subject then get lost.

Stolen account with 150$ inventory and wallet + 500 games? lol and who and how stole this?

Maybe you are jealous which is totally fine. Because I made it 4 years ago and spent my time and love on it which you dont have and may never have (u Steam member since: 2023-11-14 ???? XD)
