Skill Based Matchmaking please god please

bro this game is fun... BUT i've been playing for, like, three weeks at most, and i keep going up against like people with 90 stupid skins for their guns that have 300 year veteran coins. and dude, i suck. duh. i've hardly played. but like for a game that's so popular, that's been around so long, WHY IS THERE PRACTICALLY NO SKILL BASED MATCHMAKING???? look it's not like a deal breaker or something... but it really, really, really sucks. it makes playing it kinda like a chore i have to do for the fun part of getting like A SINGLE KILL PER ROUND as opposed to like a fun game to play where depending on how well i preform, we'll see how i do. if that makes sense. point is, bro why is a three weeks noob (me) getting paired with a like 13 year veteran that spent his life savings (39$) on this game, and hits headshots like %73 of the time, not 'cause he hacks but 'cause he's played this game like a million hours each day in his parents basement because he just had to be THAT GOOD? (you get my point). i reckon people've been sayin' this for a bajillion years, but i figured that i might as well vent. i'm not a competitive person. i'm not mad that i'm losing. the thing i'm irritated about is how i'm being presented with a ridiculously pitched battle against like super-pros, that probably aren't even THAT SUPER but i just suck 'cause i'm not stupid enough to spend money on skins or whatever and i don't play 5 hours every night every day. anyway. i just... i wish there could be some sort of skill matchmaking. please.

(edit): uh yeah also... again i'm not just like competive mad, like "I'M LOSING THAT MAKES ME MAD" not really. the reason i'm a bit upset about it is what i said + the fact that honestly, this game is SUPER FUN!! not just when you're winning. when it feels like a challenge, a game, not a "i'm just cannon fodder for this dude with an AWP with Anime girls on it" or whatever. so seriously... don't just be like "ERM YOU MAD 'CAUSE YOU BAD" like dude, yes, i suck heck at this game. but that's not the point of what i said.

Since nothing is blocking for people to create countless accounts, so any person who wants to "ruin" the game can without problems. Smurfs who want to "shoot noobs" and cheaters who gets banned, will be your daily experience I fear.

If you really wanted to you could even throw matches to stay in low ratings, there is very little to no live moderation. So who should prevents things like this from happening?

Hard to make a true showcase of skills, if people purposely give false info.

there is skill based matchmaking though. your average player has roughly 1k hours in the game, and there are several players even in the lowest ranks that have thousands of hours. if you're not already experienced with fps games you will get obliterated.

it's not really a skill based mm issue, it's more of a playerbase issue. the game has been out for so long that over time even guys who played rarely in csgo still have hundreds of hours of experience. this all means that new players are going to get destroyed over and over until they learn, and that's just the reality.

I do not understand your logic, if thoose "old" players returned and are as good as you claim, they would move up in ranks quickly leaving the real new players to duel it out and learn...

Instead they have a constant flow of "Not so intelligent" people, who keeps making new accounts for some reason.

like... if it was like a 15 dollar game to get it, that's fine this game is worth but for some reason the way that it's free, but the skill matches are 15 dollars, that irritates me. which is probably siilly.

I was under the impression OP was a paid user and not playing on free to play, in which case he would play with old users. Seems like he's just playing with people trying out non-prime?
