why are cs2 players in competitive mode taken too seriously?
If you're great, why not playing premier?

what makes competitive mode great? if you are looking for an expert sensation in fps games, why not play premier mode?

i just wanna play, is it wrong if someone is not good at fps? rip aim? i just wanna play. not a competitive player, why so serious?

I'm just confused, what's there to be proud of? Did can get a ranking? Isn't ranking only in premier mode?

if someone asks, why not play casual? I ask back, why not play premier? casual mode, the map is random and players can quit and join.

is the reason for not playing premiere mode because you are afraid of dropping your rank? that's a bad reason, if you are great. why should you be afraid of dropping your rank? you can raise it if you are really good player?

Isn't it more unpleasant when playing with hackers or cheaters?

I often see people literally screaming in agony and vote kicking players for playing bad even in CASUAL

it's not that they are taking the game seriously, such people just need to…let off some steam or I don't know I'm not one of them :DD thankfully

Yeah that's the worst thing. When you get kicked just for playing bad in Casual. Casual should be a place where you can play as bad you want there's nothing to loose only the fun. You can go there when you're new. You can go there at weekends at 2 am totally drunk. You can do stupid stuff and try things which can totally fail or just play.

But no in some Lobbys you have this one guy who permanently calls Votekick for every missing shot. Or when you're bottom fragger.

Met some of the most toxic people ever in competitive lol, I wish they did just go to premier instead.

They don't realise that it makes things worse for them by being toxic. If they were encouraging or just silent instead players wouldn't feel bad for doing bad and try to improve

When I try to play wingman it always ends with instant headshots and rounds lasting 15 seconds.

First of all, it is obvious that you are a new player, why don't you play "casual fun". Of course, the competitive mode will be serious, after all, you are rank up. If you just want to have fun, there are casual fun, weapon mode and other modes. My advice to you is don't play competitive if you are not serious. Never!

wow… I… well, I don't know why that happens, but I once had a 26 win streak on wingman, that was in CS2
and in CSGO my max winstreak was 19, also I had way more cheaters back then for some reason=\
yes once premier came out, comp became the new casual. there are a lot of issues with current casual. IE the mic plays on both sides, the 10v10 is ok but because the other team can see what you are doing some people cheat that to death. also no team damage, and you cant jump on teammates heads etc. I like the change because comp is now casual version of the standard gameplay, no exploits like in casual. You can still play reasonably sweaty and not need a "team" premier should only be played with 5 stacks. but comp and prem is so riddled with cheats and smurfs i dont see the point of playing sweaty on CS ever again. if I want sweaty comp games im going to play valorant or trackmania. CS is no longer worth playing sweaty.

i disagree entirely. Competitive mode and casual play way too differently to just force people into casual. If you want true competition you need to 5 stack in premier. thats why they made it. thats why your ranking is more specific than a rank plate.

Casual misses a lot of things regular comp has, like team damage, pass through teammates and enemys. as well as 10v10, plus mic usage is out of question because everyone hears your mic regardless of team. So it was ALWAYS a different game entirly.

I think valve gave the sweatys their peak playstyle in premier.
Competitive is now inappropriately named for the most part. Its simply a different playstyle than the "casual"

When there was no premier I would have agreed with you 100%. but now that premier is here comp is the new "standard play" casual. then you basically have super casual, in the same camp as DM.

Hmmm my experience in Silver is Premier is better than Competitive maps it's actually easier. In maps it seems you have a lot of people are forced smurfers because they can't manage to get their former ranks back and stuck in Goldnova or high silver on CS they were former MGE, DMG and Globals. Or you meet 5 stacks grinding single maps especially on weekends.

They play comp cause less cheater compare to prem. This is what ♥♥♥♥♥♥ do on ct dust2 win pistol then rush mid with a4 then die without any kills or push lower then team lose round. They wonder why team mate get tilted.

If I were ever held at GP to play CS2 matchmaking. I'd queue for comp and force buy an M249 every chance I get, otherwise I rush with a Glock-18. If GP asks for anything more, I'd say do it.

Elite mode is such a useless mode that they brought it in CS GO time, they launched it as a new mode with CS 2, normally it is nothing new, and most importantly, they beautified the "Faceit Elite" players with videos to keep them in CS 2 Elite. Why would an experienced player play elite when "faceit" is winning awards by playing competitively? Please think logically?

Rushing with glock 18 only is actually pretty effective I can't believe I've been able to get kills with no helmet against a full buy

It's usually only one kill in that situation, a couple times it was more.

I do love pistol rounds. If there's any round in the match that I probably have the highest win %, it's the pistol round.

What's painful is getting an impactful multikill right off the bat on the pistol round and then losing it later if you go down. I...really don't like that outcome. Usually it's a 2v3 afterplant on T that is successful more often than not, or it's a 2v3-4 retake on CT but your entire team has to go in at the right time. Or the objective is just eliminating the enemy team, but hopefully your team doesn't troll you and deliberately not plant T side for the extra money
