cant surf in cs2

why tf is surfing so ♥♥♥♥ in cs2, just randomly stopping on ramps why is this a problem?
how is this a thing, might as well just jump on source n surf, like tf

remember that small surf on a slanted surface on Overpass on some pro game that (at least allegedly) won the round because the CT had so few seconds to defuse but barely made it?

I guess until something like that happens again, but this time the player gets the ramp bug and loses the round, we won't get a fix for surfing…

and in the beginning of CS2 I remember it wasn't broken, I downloaded surf beginner from workshop (one of the first maps on CS2 workshop) and beat it without getting the ramp bug even once

With sv_cheats true , try setting sv_walkable_normal 1.0;sv_standable_normal 0.99;sv_accelerate 6;sv_friction 4;sv_air_max_wishspeed 300;

And it also might help to have sv_staminamax 100;sv_staminajumpcost 0;sv_staminalandcost 0;sv_jump_precision_enable false
