How are you supposed to rank up?

New to the game, I've won 21 games and top fragged most of them. I'm still silver one, and I don't know when I'm going to rank up next. Anyone have a clue?

Have patience, you have to keep winning more rounds than you lose and you will rank up.

took me about 30 wins to get out of silver 1 just keep playing and top fragging like you are and you'll be out in no time dude!

Oh hi there, welcome to the CS GO community...... try not to loose your sanity... ummm anyways, yeah so how other people have said, just keep winning and keep getting those MVP stars, they are really important. If you ever wonder how the ranking system works just search "Elo system" and that should give you an idea of how it works.

They ruined ranking so takes like 15 games won to get out of silver.

I honestly don't think it's possible to rank up right now. No one I've played with has said they've ranked up. Everyone is still deranking, although it is a bit slower. Instead of deranking on every loss it's now every 2 or 3 losses.. still doesn't matter how many wins you get in a row in between those losses.

lol no, your skillgroup gets adjusted in a few steps, but after it settled everything is back to normal.
