CSGO crashes when joining a server
Few days ago, when i tried to play some MM my game just kept crashing every time it was joining the server, it goes to the point where i should start to pick sides etc and the 5 second countdown begins and then boom game closes and Im in windows crying.
Few hours before that everything was still going smoothly and this have never happened before. I didnt change anything in CSGO or in my computer in the meantime. I have verified my game cache, reinstalled CSGO and tried to get some help through googling but nothing seems to help my problem.

It seems like your graphics card cant handle the problem and shuts down.

1st step to do, put all your video settings to low, to see are you even able to connect into a server.

Info me when tried.

Solution was to turn your friend list offline? I doubt it

Well i didnt change anything from the csgo.exe file, and just wondered through different forums and saw one post from early 2015, where some guy said that this worked for him. Now that ive tried it it does work for me, if I keep my friends list online my game will crash everytime i join a server, and when i put it offline, I can play normally again now.

Possible yes, possible no. Try? :)

But i think you should try to verify integrity of game cache or just reinstall the whole game..
