Sensitivity still too high? Need a little help
Hello, over the last month i constantly changed my sensitivity(lowering it)
I used to play with 1800 dpi,3.5 ingame sens with mouse acceleration and windows acceleration on
Now i play with 800 dpi,2.5 sensiv,1.3 zoom sens(for easier flicks with awp) and no acceleration whatsoever
My question is..is it low enough? i feel comfortable with this sensiv, but i dont want it to block my full potential in case it is too high

My gaming setup is: 16:9 1980x1080 res,200 fps,an old as f**k razer naga mmorpg mouse(not exactly best for fps games) and a really small pad(also the space on my desk is limited so i cant actually buy a bigger one)
Also,i tend to think i`m more of a wrist guy than an arm one when it comes to move the mouse, and i like to be a bit mobile too
Tell me what you think,cheers:steamhappy:

1800 dpi and 3,5 sens?!
Do u intend to do 5 360's when you AWP or something?

To answer your question...the perfect sensitivity can only be found by experimenting with it...we can't tell you what sensitivity will fit you best, only YOU can.

Haha,yeh it was kinda funny
Well i just wana make sure i stick with this one or lower it a bit more to end with better results in the long run

If you´re comfortable, it´s fine. I´d recommend you to get a bigger mousepad though (A3 minimum) and adjust your sensitivity to be about a 180-190 degree turn when swiping left to right.

I have 24 sens and 800dpi. Yes, 24, not 2.4 :)
Made it to global with that setting. 7 years gameplay of cs 1.6 and csgo. In 1.6 i used to play hide n seek which prefer higher sensitivity..
A little tip:

Tweak your sensitivity so that you can do a 180 with 1 arm swipe that's still comfortable for you. If you can easily do a 360, your sense is too high, because in game you never need a 360 without lifting your mouse. Like that balance between aim and movement is optimized.

That's pretty insane sensitivity man. But hey, if it works for you why not use it right?!
I haven't messed around with sensitivity too much. I just went for a sensitivity of 1.3 on 800 dpi when i started out and it worked for me...

400 dpi + 2.7 in-game sens + 0.8 zoom sens seems to be optimal for a 20-23 inches monitor WSXGA+

I do a 180 with 1 arm swipe and my mouse is like 5% away from the edge of my pad,so i suppose its fine, right?

When you can turn 180 or even 360 degree just with your wrist your sensititvity is way too high.

A full swipe on a big mousepad should turn you about 180 degree and not more.

If you do a 180 with one swipe but you have the feeling that your aim is too shaky reduce your sensitivity but also increase the mouse acceleration until you can do a full 180 again.

Also use raw mouse input.

Mouse acceleration and everything else are of course just a matter of opinion.

450 dpi 1.6 sense in game.

i recommended you to use 1200 or 1100 dpi, no accel, 2.0 or 1.90 ingame sens. Not to fast, not to slow in my opinion
and also if you're using razer synapse, set your polling rate to 1000

Well i suppose i`m fine with the way i am since i`m using a small pad on limited space(less than A4 size pad)
I got a question about mouse acceleration..what do you mean? i`m mainly playing awp,and i tryed recently to snipe with acceleration from ingame on(set to 1.02 or 1.03) and i was flicking like a god, feeling natural, but sensitivity felt like it was quadrupled even at rlly small movements
Isnt mouse acceleration supposed to accelerate big movements, while small precise movements should be somewhat unchanged?

Yeh,i set the polling to 1000,well 800 dpi 2.5 sens is somewhat equal to 1000dpi 2.0 sens

Acceleration is satan personified, say goodbye to consistancy if you use it. Acceleration can botch any movement, small or large, as it reacts to the speed of the movement, not the distance. Some people use it mostly because they got used to it, but really it's a handicap.
