Keep on getting stuck walking

As it says, it keeps on being stuck.
It's not my keyboard, it's not on toggle mode and holding/tapping shift does nothing.(It is bound to shift fyi).

Are Valve just promoting sneaky beaky like?

There is an option into your game setting> hold/toggle check it into your config.cfg maybe

Sometimes with Source games, when you open the Overlay using the default buttons (shift + tab), your shift key remains working as if it was on toggle mode, after you exit the overlay. This happens in GoldSource games (CS 1.6, DoD and others) all the time, Simply press your shift key again to "fix" this. Not sure if it solves the problem you're having, but at least it a nice tip in case it happens.

PC restart middle of comp isn't convieniant and my keyboard is a bit hard to unplug but I'll try it next time it happens
