Telling Steam not to update app for next 900 seconds - CS:GO Connection Kick
My console seems to read this whenever I lose connection "Telling Steam not to update app for next 900 seconds." I've heard that this isn't a new message and wouldn't be the problem to me losing connection, but why does it seemingly appear whenever the connection loss occurs? I've verified game cache, restarted computer, and checked for updates. No results in a fix and I'm afraid of playing competitive as a result, does anyone have a solution or atleast a theory on how I can resolve my issue? Thanks in advance.

I am also having this error, "Telling Steam not to update app for next 900 seconds." If anyone could figure out a solution or reason to the problem that would be very helpful.

Everyone gets that message. It has something to do with keeping steam from updating csgo if you would get temporaily disconnected and get screwed because of file mismatch when you try to get back in.

My guess is your router, try turning it off and back on and see if that does anything, make sure upnp setting is on. If it is possible, you could try connecting straight to your modem (temporarily of course because thats a huge security concern) to eliminate the possibility of the problem being your router or with your pc, if its your pc make sure upnp is on and firewall isnt blocking any known ports, typically (27010-27020)

I also get started in December but , you know any solution?
This ♥♥♥♥ happens only in competitive, others modes dont.

I get 2 or 3 disconnects from competitive every match.

ONLY happens in competitive servers.

Console also say this when i try to reconnect:
Host_WriteConfiguration: Wrote cfg/config.cfg

Sory my english!

I stopped getting disconnected a while ago, so I don't remember quite why it did. I've done things like reinstall Steam so that may have helped it.

wifi bug! roter is the problem with me, I'll reboot roter and configured again... or use cable LAN

it's like... my steam wants to update, but i'm in game... then the cs:go tells to steam not update. it doesn't disturb the game, but can reduce its fps.
