No, but if you have any issues with your account and mention your friend was on your account they will tell you that friends are not allowed on your account, then steam will close your case.

Yes and no. It all depends on your friend. And unless it's on your computer with you watching I would not do it.

The yes comes from, he may have cheats and use them. If so, you get the vac ban.

If he is at your house and wants to try the game out, then stay with him to make sure he does not try to go online and download a cheat.

If he owns the game then he can log into his account and play if he is at your house. If he is not at your place then I would not let him on your account and would wonder why he wants to use it.

Not that I believe my nephew but he claimed he let his friend on his account. (His friend had a vac on his account and wanted to play). He claimed the vac was a cooldown which my nephew believed (possible as he is new to PC gaming). So he let him. Then got a vac ban a few days after and his friend admitted to using cheats. Not sure how true or if my nephew knows I would be mad at him if it was him. If true then even friends will fool you.

Bans can take months so it's impossible to know which game.

Also like I said, if you blame your friend you fall under breaking the rule of not letting others to use your account.

Well did he use your account? It's 1 day since ban. You can log in and it should say if major or minor.

If it's for Csgo and major then it was for cheats. He (or you) were on and obviously cheating. Got reported and got a overwatch ban. Normally will follow up within a few weeks with a vac ban as well.

If minor then it was griefing. I believe first time is 30 days. This was either from doing damage to teammates, blocking paths, afk, etc.

Major again was using cheats. Just because he is your friend, don't let him fool you if it was him. If it was not, then it's you.

Vac ban can take months to show. However he will know which game because with a game ban, you can't play that game. So if Csgo he won't be able to play it.

30-40 day about right then. Well then your friend or you must have done something that got reported. Look up what minor includes. Must have don damage to a teamate. And looked on purpose. Or afk or something.

If was friend, does not matter. Your account and you are responsible.
