Deranked 4 ranks.

I was DMG and now I am Gold nova master. I was trying to rank up to DMG for like 2 monts and now it took me 3 days to derank to gold nova master. Yeah. That makes sense. Ok valve thanks I guess for this present.

They made changes to the MMR/Elo/MMS/Whatever system that made it a lot harder to get to (and maintain) higher ranks. I used to be MG1, but now I'm MG3 (not salty about it, actually. I belong here).

Ranking distribution was changed. Most got deranked 2-4 ranks. Some didn't. Get over it.

The problem is it took me 2 monts to rank up and within 3 days I lost 4 ranks. I think I have to stop this game. I am scared of solo queue. This got ridiculous. This is not the game I paid for. Valve... You messed up.

Most DMG are now GNM, realize that DMG is mainly Le-Lem now.

I know that I am not the only one. Most of the CSGO players have deranked but this is just not right.

The only problem is you being too attached to a skill group. One you never belonged in.

GN4? you're an average player and the fact that you were MGE/DMG shows how messed up it was before and why the changes were needed.

Legally, it IS still Valve's game. Their game, their Steam, their ball in the playground, their rules...Same goes for every game out there, tbh.

Ah ah, same for me, I was sherif and then, in 8 wins in a row, I deranked 2 times in MG1, no way to rank again even if I win a lot, ♥♥♥♥ valve, ♥♥♥♥ csgo, it sucks :)

This is the first game I played today. I won it. This is the second game I played today: http://prntscr.com/9l6dpm we lost this one (and I don't know how I didn't derank, did they fix it?)

Just because you scraped over the line for DMG briefly doesn't mean you belonged there. Chances were pretty high you would have deranked back to MGE anyway.

As you can see just from this thread GN4 is full of people like you who were MGE's and MG1 is full of ex DMG's.

The ranking system is more like it was a year ago before the rank creep. I was GN4 when I stopped playing a year ago, came back and was MG2... three weeks later I was DMG.

The ranking system just put you where you belong because with the amount of players the average rank was no longer at nova 4, that was fixed and now nova 4 is the average skill level. Your elo has not changed.
