How much, if any, having to lift your mouse to reposition is okay?
I play at 1200 DPI and 2.5 ingame sens. Here lately more and more I notice I lift my mouse a LOT. I'm afraid to try the higher sens' because of being too inaccurate due to not being able to slow down and get my aim on.

I certainly dont want to go lower sens because I mouse lift enough as it is.

Any tips to where you consider your sens good?

Please dont reply with "tons of tuts on youtube!". I know all of the tuts. I'm asking from a -community- not a person who is making a video.

I use 2k DPI 7 sens for moving, and 500 DPI 7 sens for aiming

Should get a bigger mousepad and lower your sens, when you're in a fight you should never have to lift your mouse, but if you're clearing corners it's common that you'll need to.

I have the steel series QcK mouse pad, so pad isnt the issue. I've never ran the mouse off of it. It's just been getting to the point where I feel that i'm lifting so much that it's causing more distractions rather than better aim.

I play at 1.38 sens 1000dpi and I lift a lot but only because i have a small mouspad.

1 @ 800 , which is average
Tried 0.84 @ 800 , but was too annoying

how do you guys flick? I move only my wrist, because I only have a 7" mousepad...
TechnoViking Dec 28, 2015 @ 10:59pm
I just throw my mouse across the room for those mad flicks . (no just use the arm obviously)

cpzombie, from what i've seen in videos and pro tips, it's best to move your whole arm. I try to not move my wrist at all, but if you have a small pad, that can be difficult.

Nah. Just do whats best for you. There are pro who never move their arm. I cant play with moving my arm myself it feels weird and wrong. I'm the type of guy who breaks his wrist playing cuz it moves too much.

Your sensitivity is insanely fast man, also a lot of pros lift their mouse as it is the only way to reposition because 80% of pros use low sensitivity. (400dpi@ 1.5-3 mostly).
Personally I use 400dpi @ 2.3 and I lift mouse mouse a bit but not too much, I try to keep it on the mousepad unless it is absolutely necessary to lift it.

my dpi is 400 with a sens of 1.6 ... I got for longer distance combat so that's why I got everything so low, hope it helps you in any way.
