And there are a lot of questions around here, did you using 240Hz monitor and locked it? If this happen well it's Valve plan with more performance on better gear
Maybe windows updates and drivers could give you lack of performance. Linus Tech Tips did show this issue before.
Or your configuration in game need to change where limit fps set to 1000fps no console needed, and this maybe problem because after updated it just give you some disadvantages.
New maps like Thera could lead to huge fps drop, me got 29fps OMG. And would you like to play on new maps?
CS2 runs well the first 1 round, but afterwards performance decreases drastically. I'm playing through Linux Runtine 3.0 (sniper), high-end PC that's capable of running 144 fps stable. Performance mode on Nvidia and the OS itself. Restarting the game helps. but temporarily. I only seem to have stable 144 on Office map, but there could be drops at times. It seems there's something causing the bloating if the map is too big and it doesn't reset/flush each round.
They just need to fix their game.
Native games are always better if they are ported correctly on Linux.
