No, very bad idea
can't be that hard to make your own website or spam stuff all over reddit/twitter/etc
pay streamers $5 to talk about your stuff for 10 minutes and then people make clips of it that get millions of views
focusing on this useless trash forum with a small number of viewers is a mistake
let the forum rot, do what you need to do a different way so it actually works
then say..okay what can i do about my problem?
well, every other website is a better place to push evidence of cheating (and get it seen by someone who matters), or suggest ideas for the game, or whatever
this is honestly the single least effective place to do those things. it shouldn't be, but it is, so trying to use it in that way is foolish.
there's no stupid "naming and shaming" policy for videos of cheaters on reddit/twitter/twitch/etc (all websites with a zillion times the viewership of this busted terrible forum)
even simple things like "gee i wish short matches were added back" -> you're so much better off paying one of the top twitch streamers $5 to talk about that for a minute, then their viewers will clip it... in 3 days it will get 100k views and might actually go somewhere.. on here 3 people reply and 2 of them are the same person, if you catch my drift
Yeah well, the only way Valve would be able to force people to behave and not cheat in our games, is to demand Digital ID !
That way you will need to provide your digital ID on each of the accounts you own, so if you get banned on the digital id in a game, then it is on all the account + future accounts you might make here on steam !
That is the only true way to stop cheat developers and cheaters on this platform !
Because atm you can make 1000 free steam accounts and abuse them, all you need to do is to spoof your hardware and use a VPN .. then Valve got 0 chance of stopping it ..
But with digital ID, you cannot spoof it, you cannot use a VPN and you cannot cheat on 1000+ accounts ..
With digital ID, we as humans will allso gain full control over the internet again !
Because without it, we wont be able to tell the difference between whether you are talking to a human or an artificial intelligence in the future, but you can be assured of that if Valve uses digital ID on this platform !
So as human, it would be nice if Valve would demand digital ID in the future, because that would force people to behave and force people to not cheat in our games and Valve would maintain full control over their own platform against Ai & other shady activity´s !
Name & shaming wont do anything good for this community or whole the steam community !
But digital ID on the other hand will have a possitiv effect on the Steam community !
That is my oppinion
doesn't really seem like it fits in with this discussion at all honestly
pretty transparent agenda-driven posting right there
hope the pay is good for shilling for the second beast cabal system
And this is exactly why Valve couldn't care less about trying to fix the massive hacker issue. Its profitable. They know that hackers will throw money at a new account when they get banned, and premier was just another scam by valve to ensure we get "less hackers". Valve doesn't HAVE to fix the problem when its benefiting them.
