I have it on good authority that Danger Zone will not be returning to CS2 for the foreseeable future. Player numbers were not high enough to justify Valve prioritizing working on it.

If danger zone wont come, its also time for me to quit... I didnt play the game for the last 2 werks already, since cheaters here and there are ruining everything, but danger zone would personally give me a return... cant imagine it is gone forever.

If danger zone wont come, its also time for me to quit... I didnt play the game for the last 2 werks already, since cheaters here and there are ruining everything, but danger zone would personally give me a return... cant imagine it is gone forever.

Maybe is just a bait and Danger zone 2 comes, but to be honest the game is not in a good state atm and there is a lot to work with everything. All this makes me to believe that is hard to be brought back. :((

It was leaked 6 month ago danger zones items like riot shield, bump mines, the agents from dz and 2 new items. Maybe they just need time to create a brand new dz or something because source 1 was pretty limited.

The item can stay there for good and never be used in game and the leaks may mean nothing cause Valve lets leek only what they want. I don't like cause they send us news by unofficial means. Communication should be more frequent and precise.

Find that I played all of those games, but the best battle royal was Danger Zone. Easy, fast paced, was a delight!

most bots cant play thats why the numbers were low.. They need to focus on this and make it happen..,.

Danger Zone was hands down the best mode this game ever had. Once you learned the tricks and how to achieve a victory it was endless fun. It had a strong community that relentlessly pursued new players and encouraged them to play. Those players will vouch here that Danger Zone was so much fun. You had your cheaters, sure, but we had ways to beat them and squad wipe them. It was honestly the best game mode in CS:GO. The fact that it was taken so abruptly with no replacement is just a disgrace to the game and the community of players that put hours into bettering the game. Discords like the DZ Community Server had an active "hacker tracker" that would allow you to quickly and seamlessly identify previously reported cheaters in the game and quit during warmup and re-que to essentially avoiding the cheaters and allowing to have a wholesome game amongst other fellow gamers. This was developed by a community member. Games are supposed to be fun. Danger Zone was fun. Comp/Premier is full of cheaters, the same boring 5v5 game modes with competition placed above and beyond fun. The fun is gone from the game. Casual and Deathmatch are what they are. Arms Race was brought back for fun. It has its moments, Sure. I think Steam/Valve should reconsider this and revive Danger Zone. The following will be there. Try it and see. What do you have to lose, honestly? You only have room to gain players back to your platform for more FUN. CS is slowly eroding and gamers are going elsewhere. I personally have more inactive friends now then EVER before. Steam account created 21 years ago. 22 years in October. This is a sad time for Counter-Strike. Bring back Danger Zone.
