What game mode gives me free cases, items, and skins?

I know that competitive mode gives free cases and other items. But does any other mode gives them too? Like Casual mode for example? and How often do they drop?

Once a week when you level up, you can choose 2 out of 4 Items (Mostly a case, a skin, 2 sprays).
Since it's bound to level up, it's fully exp based. Competetive gives more exp, but you can do it in every mode i think. I'm mostly playing casual.

I see thanks for the info. Can it be done through playing Practice mode against bots?
And do we need premium to level up? Or we can without it?

No it can't be done in practice with bots and you need prime status to get these drops.

If you want to be able to drop items, you must purchase the Prime Status upgrade.
