the game doesn't give me xp while playing competitive

Hello, it has been several days since I have been given xp when playing competitively with a friend, they only give me xp when I play deathmatch, I have prime but the friend I play with does not, I don't know if that is the problem, it would be good if you could confirm or if it is a mistake.

I take it this is normal as I have exactly the same situation with my friend

It is.
If you play in non-prime lobbies you don't get XP.

oh, but before the update, when I played with my friend it gave me xp, that's why it seems strange to me, maybe they removed it with the update

True, happened with me aswell, I played with my non prime friends for a week and everything was fine. But observed from last few days I have stopped recieving xp in competitive.
