Extreme griefing and trolling by....you've guessed it; Russians
At this point there's no need to say much or repeat much...it's all been said. I'm not a regular here at these forums and even I have seen at least 20 different Steam users with relatively valuable accounts (so no alts or dupes or "free" players) each creating their own posts, asking as politely as can be, to ban Russia from matchmaking with other countries; Or to simply give them their own servers and get them off of EU servers.

Yes, of course decent and nice Russian players are out there, but it's just unfortunate how in my and many others' experiences that the vast majority of Russian players of CS:GO and CS2 simply ruin the game for literally everyone else who's unlucky enough to get matched with them.

From excessively cussing at others for simply asking these entitled Russians to speak a language the whole world learns, speaks and understands - English, who at best respond with "F you, speak Russian"; To then proceeding to grief, team-damage and team-kill these players who dare to point out how the Russians are in the wrong and/or annoying others in the match by refusing to cooperate; And of course, the final step is when they all team up on you when it's a 4-Russian 1-unlucky-non-Russian-matched-with-them team in order to kick you out just because you're not like them.

The average Russian in CS2 makes the whole experience of the game miserable and un-enjoyable for others to the point I have repeatedly posted in protest/petition to give them their own servers so they can enjoy the game amongst themselves and leave us all to play in peace with people willing to cooperate and speak a language we can all understand and enjoy the darn game without their toxicity.

I get along fine with the average Russian by doing my part in the game. If you are having problems with Russians, it is likely your fault. There are many other countries which I find far more problematic.

If they don't speak English, use pings and simple words only. Very simple yet effective. They are not required to learn English for you, it would help them, but they are not required.

The only fun I've had in such a long time in this game is when the new maps were first released to the competitive matchmaking pool and were almost entirely Russian-free.
Now, however, they're moving over to the new maps from Office and Dust-2, making everyone's experience there miserable as well.

You clearly have a chip on your shoulder as in your original post you basically outline that you often confront and argue with Russian players saying they are in the wrong etc. Just mute them and play the game instead of arguing, and you may see that the game works out fine.

How the hell they troll you that way...

8 out of 10 matches i vibe with them...we do jokes sing a song share a playlist...we have fun and i dont speak russian at all and i mean it they are nice...weird but they are

The other two matches is either someone with ♥♥♥♥ talk and screams toxic stuff but that still does not troll the match as hes just mad i guess or drunk XD but yeah...even if he does speak a few words still calls for info

I bet you won't tell difference between Ukrainian, Kazakh, Belarusian, Russian and some other languages spoken in CIS region. Plus most ppl from that regions do speak Russian as well besides from their native language.

Majority of player base in EU servers is from theese countries. Ofc you will meet some toxicity, but its just silly to pretend that all ppl from CIS region are trolls and toxic.

How is it my fault that they REFUSE to speak English and then start teamkilling and votekicking if you ask them to speak or chat in English?

how is it my fault that they constantly jump in front of you while you're shooting, trying to steal the kill and then teamkill you if you accidentally hit them.

how is it my fault that they only know how to hold W, die within 15 seconds of match start, then they start making weird noises in mic or spamming some symbols in chat and then votekick you because they get bored waiting for others to use brain.

how is it my fault that right from the match start they sometimes start trolling?

They are arrogant, hostile and generally anti-social. In their twisted dreams, they think they rule the world and everyone needs to speak their primitive language, then they get mad if others refuse being their slaves.
This is how they treat their women aswell, they treat them as items, not as humans. They only use their women and have no respect for them. Look at what they are doing in Ukraine, they rape women and children and then kill them and they enjoy doing it.

Sure there are bad people from other countries aswell, but when it comes to russia, that's 99 out of 100 that act like this, while in other countries that number is like 1-10 out of 100 that act like it.

Watch those dashcam crash videos on YouTube. They make illegal maneuvers, cause an accident and then start raging at others for not letting them break the law. Sometimes they try to cut someone off and if they are denied, they quite literally ram into other car, then take baseball bat and go smash the other car windows.
How do you justify such actions?

They act exactly same in games, not just CS2, but all online games. They think they rule the game and can do whatever they want, they expect everyone else to be their slaves and if someone refuses, they instantly start votekicking, teamkilling and trolling.

That is NOT ok. I vote for banning them from entire steam, they do absolutely more harm than good.

+1
this has been my experience aswell. most of them rather fight their own teammates than enemies.
perhaps it's skill issue, enemy is too difficulty, so they take it out on teammates who don't fight back?

btw i can't remember ever meeting a toxic russian girl. they're usually respectful towards other players and communicate in english, or at least they try.
XhizorBE Jul 26, 2024 @ 6:28am
Valve should give us a feature before we play competive which language do you want to communicate. Its not that difficult to implent, and just match us with players that picked the same language

There are not even servers needed to be located in a certain country

I remember the socom day's, there we got full lobbies of countrymen. And the community was even way less toixc

Forcing people to speak english is also never the way to go, you really need to ask it in a respectfull manner. And most of the time it will end up bad for you. I also see it happens over and over that the ones who ask for english chat, are alway's acting like a sort of boss

Trust me 99% of the time you will get trolled if you do it that way.

I agree with this, dont have friends to play with and got 13 day cooldown because premade stack of 4 russians wich griefed, insulted me and saying racist insults and microphone spammed insults to...
All i did was playing my game and trying to win and after the game i got a griefing ban of 13 days...
( so fun that automatic false reports still work for them they ruin the game for others and thats fine in valve's eyes.... )
For me it was the last time i get an unfair automatic ban ive put every skin i have for sale and not gonna play cs anymore other then for weekly drops,
Im tired of the unfair and toxic community, and the game also never changes,
Its almost every game the same, getting insulted, trolled and bullied at,
People nowadays are so negative and insecure they have to reflect their own miserable life and negative attitude towards others and get away with it because nobody monitor/punish them... its just sad everytime i play i just feel miserable because that behaviour wich i dont need in my life...
Its so hard to just play the game if they just have that bad and negative attitude and mostly they dont even play they die blame you for it,and watch every step you make and give commentary on every step you make and nothing is good only complains...
Also the strangest part is they constant insult you, talk to you or asks questions, and then when you try to answer them back you need to 'quote''shut the f ck up'' ( why they talk to you then if you can't answer them back... the logic....)

Toxic players aren’t regional to Russia though. This sounds incredibly xenophobic

So now you’re just calling everyone you disagree with Russian?
How is this post not xenophobic
PainKiller Jul 26, 2024 @ 8:26am
had the same with turks and other regions. kids be kids fella.

On my point of view the russian players make cs2 and csgo much worse than they really are. The server system was much better in cs source where were regional and more community servers, then the annoying players was banned there and they got lost.
