Help with monitor refresh rate.
I'm gonna try my best to explain my problem. So I was was warming up and I noticed that my game wasnt feeling smooth at all. I go into my monitor settings and notice that my refresh rate is set to 75hz and the only other option is 60hz.

I have never had this issue before.

My monitor is 144hz with an overclock to 165hz

If I change my resolution ingame to my native (2560x1440) then it brings it back to 165hz

Should note that I tried this in another game and had the same issue

I checked both windows settings and nvidia and if I'm alt tabbed all is fine, correct res and hz, but when I'm ingame it shows that its set to 75hz.

This might not be the right place to ask this question but I know a lot of you guys are good with tech and maybe you've had this problem as well

The refresh is set per resolution.
If you go to=
Display settings/Advanced display settings/Display adapter properties for display 1/
Click on monitor tab
Then you can see what your display is capable of..

I already know what my monitor i capable of, had it for years. It says 165hz there aswell.

The refresh rate shouldn't change just because I lower my ingame resolution. It's not like pros play with 75hz. There has to be a setting somewhere that fixes this ♥♥♥♥

Hmm, ok. Did you try an update the default monitor driver? (from device manager)
And also check if you have something in the CS startup settings..

Newest team green driver broke the refresh options. Roll back to previous driver and profit.
