I'm not particularly sure if we should identify this as cheating...it's just better hardware design to reduce the input time ? I mean players still are the one who have to do the counter strafing and aiming do achieve good accuracy.

Something that gives you an unfair advantage over a skil that others may train for thousands of hours without ever reaching perfection, it's definitely cheating. Not by chance many others professional players want it banned.

This has been possible in counter strike since 1.6 with a nulls autoexec.

There are other lesser known keyboards that can do this, really strange to ban only people using one specific model.
