you got placebo affect thats all.
you can deffinetly up the pc if you got the cash.
I am not going suggest financial advice , but even if you go for rtx 4090 gpu with i9 14900KF cpu the price will be around 3000£ considering its from online shop and they overcharge a bit.
the point is it might be cheaper to just buy new pc vs upgrading single components and dealing with building stuff etc , unless you pro with that skill.
The reason why this 50fps increase is so important to me is because i just bought a monitor with a 240hz refresh rate which I'm trying to fully utilise
you need msi burner to see 1% fps and .01% fps then you know if it actually helped or not since geforce overlay does not show everything.
also it might just be from other factors like no bullets on map etc.
not sure if it does anything but you can try going into NVIDIA panel , go to cs2 exe programs , and change from high quality textures to high performance that should up fps a bit.
(but not too crazy) triliner on , sample optimisation on , it says on panel it increase performance so I guess it should add few fps.
The issue is if i use nvidia panel it wont change anything, the bottle neck for my system is my cpu so changing the graphics interface isnt going to help (I have already tried). If i want more performance in cs2 then i need to upgrade from a ryzen 7 3700x to a ryzen 9 5900x, I could also overclock my ryzen 7 3700x, but that is not recommended on a stock wraith cooler
not sure if the website is legit but it says the price is 250£ for ryzen 9 5900x

its not that bad.
unless you need to change more stuff.
Thanks, Im planning to get a second hand one with a thermalright peerless assassin cooler
4060 kinda bad tho so if you have spare cash I would sell 4060 and buy 4070 or the super versions although idk anything about those, but just the 4070 is like 70% faster vs 4060.
so if your motherboard supports it might as well upgrade it all in 1 go.
although I am going on rtx 3080 and 5800x3d cpu and my fps is like stable-ish 350 max 600
so the game cs2 wont be crazy fps boost anyway. unless you 4090 it lol
my cpu usage is below 40% all time so yeach..
I know but atm I don't need to upgrade, I bought my pc as a prebuilt (I had no choice) during the crypto boom for about 650£-700£ which to me was cheaper than manually buying all the parts and building the damn thing. I could sell my rtx 4060 but i put all my settings on low anyway so i doubt there is much pressure there since the rtx 4060 is equivalent to another card i have which is a gtx 1080ti also the fact that I will probably need to upgrade my PSU if i get a better card but if i just get the cpu then it will be cheaper for me overall.
