any tricks to boost fps in cs2?
are there any tricks to boost fps in cs2?

i’ve updated all my drivers and bios.

my hardware:

- rx6600
- r7 3700x
- 16gb 2133mhz (i was told that it should be possible to oc the ram with a option in the bios?)
- win11

i disabled fullscreen optimization in the cs2.exe properties which boosted about 15 fps!

i was told that disabled SVM and enabling REBAR would boost fps but this doesn’t work for me.

You can activate XMP in bios to make the ram go at a higher frequency.
You might have a game mode in bios for your CPU which overclocks it slightly.
You might be able to overclock your GPU's frequency in Amd Adrenaline.

+ don't run unlocked framerate
+ enable fidelityFX super resolution. set it on balanced and see how well it works. if your GPU usage is low, then try quality, if GPU usage is too high, then try performance ..etc.
+ turn shadows on low

i have GTX 1080 and i get stable 60fps in 1440p with only 20-30% GPU usage. game runs smooth as butter.

CS2 isn't CSGO anymore. Upgrade your CPU and GPU. That's no other secret FPS boost.

and hardware doesn’t matter at this point in cs2 because it’s still very poorly optimized which means that even high end pc’s don’t reach their old fps back…

don’t get me wrong but what are 60 fps in 2024? and why didn’t you upgrade a such old gpu yet?

btw, csgo and cs2 don’t rely on gpu, but on cpu!
