Secure Boot error in Faceit Anti-Cheat

Many players who do not play with cheats switch to the Faceit platform, because there are millions of times fewer of them there. I am one of them) But not everyone succeeds, because to play Faceit you need Faceit AC (Anti-Cheat). And Secure Boot must be enabled for AC.

- This is a protocol in UEFI that checks the operating system and drivers at startup.

How to enable it?

First, you need to see if it is supported on your PC. To do this, I advise you to download the AIDA64 Extreme program from the official website (It is better to download the exe file). Then install and go to the application. You should open the "Motherboard" tab, after "BIOS" and check what is written in the "Secure Boot" line. If it says "Not supported" or "Disabled", then you have the opportunity to enable Secure Boot. If other - there is no possibility(

If you are lucky and you can enable Secure Boot, then you need to turn off your PC, then turn it on and immediately start spamming the BIOS open button on your motherboard. Most often, this button is F2 or Del, but I advise you to look in the browser "How to enable Bios on [Your motherboard]" before turning it off.

If you successfully entered the Bios, go to the Security tab, and try to find Secure Boot, after finding it - turn it on and press Save and exit (F10).

After that, your PC will turn on and you can try to turn on Faceit AC.

It's strange, try to check status of secure boot in aida64

It doesn't even connect? Should be a small, not too small window that pops up with username and then it should say it is connecting. Sometimes i do get a connection fail but I just reconnect / retry

If the window isn't even coming up, have you made sure it's the fully updated version? I would go back to faceit.com and then download the launcher and then AC again, do a reinstall

It freaks out with stuff like a vpn, so make sure that's not on when you connect.
