Feedback on Counter-Strike 2 (CS2)

I've been playing Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) recently and wanted to share some honest feedback. While there are aspects I enjoy, there are significant areas where the game falls short and needs improvement.

Bring Back Classic Maps:
One of my biggest disappointments is the removal of popular maps from competitive play. Maps like Lake, Cache, and Agency are beloved by the community, and their absence is sorely felt. These maps provide unique gameplay experiences and are essential for a diverse map pool.

Gameplay Mechanics:
The gameplay in CS2 doesn’t feel as tight and responsive as in previous versions. Movement and shooting mechanics seem off, which detracts from the precise and competitive nature of Counter-Strike. These need fine-tuning to restore the classic Counter-Strike feel.

Matchmaking Issues:
The matchmaking system has been problematic, with frequent mismatches in skill levels and long wait times. This makes it challenging to find fair and enjoyable matches, which is frustrating for both new and veteran players.

Performance Optimization:
While the graphics have improved, they have come at the cost of performance. Many players, including myself, have experienced lag and frame drops, even on high-end systems. Better optimization is crucial for a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience.

Developer Support and Community Feedback:
The game needs better support from the developers. Listening to the community and implementing requested features and fixes will go a long way in restoring player confidence and improving the overall experience.

Conclusion:
Counter-Strike 2 has the potential to be great, but it needs significant improvements. Bringing back classic maps like Lake, Cache, and Agency, fixing gameplay mechanics, and improving matchmaking are essential steps.

To be honest i dont see a bit of bright light for it....
In maybe 1-2 year it will be worst as its already with each update is getting worst :)
Maybe if they sit down and care about it instead of being money hungry

comfy but completely pointless thread my friend .
if today the game was updated and got everything you mentioned it would still be an unplayable mess because of the cheating problem.
there are more cheaters than clean players now.

Absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, at this time. I truly hope that CS2 will lost all players after last update. I was show that for Valve skins=money are matter. Servers become to by unplayable !!! in any normal company, looking for the good of the players update it be ether fix or remove! but CS2 is special instead fix issue, Valve decide to piss off players, destroy servers to the point that ping reach 150! and shatter lag get to 30% or more!! I can only say keep going V! soon all CS players find better obsession!! Atm any game is more worth to play!!!
