Leaving CS2 Until the Cheating Problem is Fixed

I’ve been a dedicated Counter-Strike player since 2018 and have always enjoyed the competitive nature of the game. However, my experience with Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) has been severely impacted by the rampant cheating and toxic behavior that seem to be present in almost every match.

In nearly every game, I encounter cheaters or deal with team-killing, creating a frustrating and unpleasant gaming environment. Despite never cheating myself and often outperforming the enemy team through legitimate skill, I find myself being reported frequently, further contributing to the toxicity.

This post is not just me venting my frustrations, but also a call to action for the community. If you find yourself in a similar situation, where the enjoyment of the game is being overshadowed by cheating and toxicity, I urge you to consider stepping back from CS2 until these issues are addressed. A collective response might be what’s needed to bring attention to this serious problem.

I hope that Valve will take significant steps to improve the integrity and fairness of CS2, allowing us to enjoy the game we love in a competitive and respectful environment. Until then, I’ll be taking a break, and I encourage others who share my experience to do the same.

Wouldn't banning cheaters with pricy skins drive the price of said skins to be higher? Causing an increase in VALVe's revenue because of the %15 CS2 community tax?

This will never gets a fix as they do money out of it so yeah....

i play with 5 accounts and all have super green trustfactor, from the last 40 games i got only one cheater. all accounts ~16-18k ELO
i think steam get the pools right. just dont play with cheater friends or untrusty accounts!

Because company sell cheat software can make money.

So why the cheat software know the VAC safety code and VAC undetect ?

These issues have been address many times over. If people dont enjoy the game they will stop playing you dont need to instruct them xD
