If you mean changing the file settings to show the whole map, no you won't get banned. But if you're using some kind of software to manipulate game files as you play, yes, there is a high chance that you will get vac banned, AMD players got VAC banned almost a year ago since AMD was tampering with game files so their antilag+ could work.
Edit: ok now I understand what you mean and I donno if it could lead to a VAC BAN, but I'd avoid switching game files for 3rd party files. Keep in mind you're responsible for your account's status. If you get vac banned and people find later that this was the cause, it'll be your fault and you won't be able to complain with anyone.
no, i've used that in csgo for long time. it is allowed by all leagues too. it just is a simpler radar hud
You are only allowed to get an advantage via Hardware, aka your economic power. All else is considered cheating and we live in a democracy.
