Can i get banned by using simple radar?

In fact, I change the game files, but I don't use cheats. Can I get banned?

What do you mean by using simple radar?

If you mean changing the file settings to show the whole map, no you won't get banned. But if you're using some kind of software to manipulate game files as you play, yes, there is a high chance that you will get vac banned, AMD players got VAC banned almost a year ago since AMD was tampering with game files so their antilag+ could work.

Edit: ok now I understand what you mean and I donno if it could lead to a VAC BAN, but I'd avoid switching game files for 3rd party files. Keep in mind you're responsible for your account's status. If you get vac banned and people find later that this was the cause, it'll be your fault and you won't be able to complain with anyone.

Valve doesn't ban closet cheaters, they only ban rage hackers. afrter 15k+ NA it's all closet cheaters

no, i've used that in csgo for long time. it is allowed by all leagues too. it just is a simpler radar hud

No, in CS 2 you don't get banned if you are cheating.

Basically: If you manipulate the game files you can always be banned. No one here can give you reliable information :-D At most a Valve employee. And that won't happen. So just ask yourself is it worth it and the answer should be NO!

You need to have same conditions as everyone else on software level. Som ethings are allowed, see -> cmd commands.
You are only allowed to get an advantage via Hardware, aka your economic power. All else is considered cheating and we live in a democracy.

Radar images aren't checked by VAC. Welp, they weren't checked, past tense since they're no more. It's not possible to change radar images anymore in CS2. So, simple radar is unusable in CS2
