No Penalties For Team Damage - Update Friendly Fire In VAC

We all understand how Team Damage can lead to Community Ban/Penalties .
But WHAT IF this was Unintentional ?

Example

Holding An Angle With An AWP - T-Side Inferno

• Round Starts
  
• Full team runs from T-Spawn to Ramp.
  
• While wielding the AWP. You go to Pick Mid .
  
• You spot an Enemy and go to shoot.
  
• Your Teammate(s) run directly into the line of fire.
  
• You're punished for a TK that was Unintentional and die from the enemy who you were trying to shoot.
  
• Teammate(s) are now upset you TK'd them and won't accept they were at fault
  
• Eventually Due To Team Damage Throughout the game. You've been given a penalty

The Same Thing Can Be Stated With The Use Of Grenades And All Other Weapons

It's 2024 and Friendly Fire has been incorporated into FPS Games For Years

What Should Be Looked At By VAC?

• Identify All Players In-Game
  
• Observe All Players Actions & Intentions
  
• Identify Friendly Fire Potential
  
• Exclude Team Damage Punishment
  
• Announce Nothing For <User> Attacked A Teammate
  
• Track Actions & Behaviours Of Players After Team Damage
  
• Observer/Listen To In-Game Comms/Chats
  
• Identify Who's At Fault For Instigation
  
• Instigator Gets Punished As A Result Of Their Own Stupidity And Poor Game Sense
  
• Consider a Forgive Option For Team Damage

The Forgive is a Feature I personally have seen while playing Hardcore TDM on BF4 where Friendly Fire is enabled and it has a lot more options on servers with the Forgive Option Enabled while in the heat of battle

When you play in casual mode, there's no Friendly Fire.
But in competitive, you gotta be careful what you do and who you shoot.

This is the part that separates pros from chill players who just wanna have fun.

Also, without FF, you'd use one of your teammates as shield and push forward shooting from behind. Doesn't work.
