G-Sync on according to settings but CS2 disagrees?
I followed everything on the "visit Nvidia" link and the settings are right. I have my monitor set to do the "Adaptive Sync" ON and from what i've seen, everything in-game is set up right. What should I check? I log in and get the "We see your system can do it but you haven't turned it on so go turn on Gsync" message

Check if you're able to activate G-sync in the Nvidia G-SYNC Pendulum Demo https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/community/demos/
If G-sync is enabled in your Nvidia parameters, and have the screen connected to the proper Nvidia output connectivity port (HDMI or Displayport), this should work fine. Also check that the Variable refresh rate is enabled in Windows

Ok so the demo wont let me enable Gsync - the selector is there but if i click on it the curcle just flashes and it doesnt stay. I'm on Win10 still too.

update: its because my monitor was using hdmi. I wish literally anywhere on nvidias website steam links to or anywhere in NVIDIA control panel it wouldve said that, but alas. Sorted

I've had GSYNC enabled for a while now but CS2 doesn't recognize the setting as on. I think as long as you've got everything set up correctly in the NVIDIA Control Panel it doesn't matter if CS says it's on or not.

If CS2 says Gsync is inactive, then it's really inactive. From my experience, when vsync is set to "adaptive" in Nvidia configuration, it disables Gsync in CS2 despite being enabled in the Nvidia configuration.

I was guessing that CS2 doesn’t really know the true state of GSYNC, but if you’re right and it does know, I think the game is bugged. I tried every combination I could think of to get GSYNC to say enabled in game. Hopefully this is fixed soon? As this seems to be the only way to fix the stuttery gameplay

Mine started working after enabling it in my monitor settings where Adaptive Sync was switched off completely.

Mine started working after I spam clicked my display in "set up multiple displays" to be the #1 display. Even though I only have one monitor hooked up right now. Weird but it worked.
