Lost my prime status idk when or how

Had my prime status since 2018 and idk when I lost it. Just logged in CS2 for the past few days trying to play matchmaking comp and no luck. Tried reporting it to valve but still no luck.am I the only one who's got this is there any way of getting my prime back?

i lost it too, steam support says:
Beginning May 10th, 2024, players who launch Counter-Strike 2 for the first time will not have Prime Status if they had previously received a complimentary Prime Status license through gameplay in CS:GO.

Please note, we cannot restore complimentary copies of Prime Status to accounts at Steam Support. Prime Status can be purchased in-game or through the Steam Store using this link.

Bruh, If I was hit with that ♥♥♥♥, I would keep making support requests until they restored it.

Valve knows there are people boosting accounts to get prime status. So anyone who get the complimentary prime are removed in CS2.

To avoid spam and cheaters, you need to pay it.

Yep, players who didnt log into CS 2 before 7th May lost their prime even if they own operation coins , medals , etc ...

how exactly does that work?

i was under the impression that if you previously purchased csgo, then that turns into cs2 prime, since cs2 is free to play and those who purchased csgo in past, should now have cs2 prime.

this is the case on my main account, i played between 2012-2016, i only got back into cs2 around end of 2023 and i had prime.
however my old alt account i used for solo playing, did not have prime, even tho it has csgo purchase aswell.

Back when they made the game free they also implemented prime, and made it so you could get prime for free when you reached level 21. People then made accounts, farmed prime on them and just forgot about them. Those are the accounts we are talking about.

Previously, you just need to reach rank Level 21 (I think) and you'll get Prime Status for free. Many chinese uses this advantage to make automated match and boosted the accounts using bots.
