2 taps instead of 1 tap or double click

I have a wired deathadder essential mouse, and I had steelseries rival 3 wireless mouse, so when I tap with deathadder essential mouse, I don't double tap, but with steelseries mouse I have double taps sometimes. And I think that in other games such as Fortnite, there are no double taps, with both mice, how can u resolve this problem, should I try a new mouse?
